Zultys Business Phone Systems
One phone system, your choice of deployment. Put the Zultys MX on-premise, host it in the cloud, or run a hybrid of both — it is the exact same system, with the same features and the same ZAC software for every user.
Why Zultys
Stop choosing between "on-premise" and "cloud."
Most phone vendors make you pick a lane. Their premise product is an aging PBX with bolt-on features, and their cloud product is a completely different platform — so moving later means relearning everything and buying it all again.
Zultys doesn't work that way. The MX system runs the same software whether it lives on an appliance in your server room, on a VMware host, in the Zultys cloud, or in a hybrid across multiple sites. Your users see the same dial plan, the same call flows, and the same ZAC application either way — so the deployment decision becomes a budget and IT question, not a feature question.
Unified communications isn't an add-on license here. Voice, chat, SMS, video, presence, voicemail, call recording, and contact center are all part of the same integrated system.
Deployment options
Same system. Three ways to run it.
Own it as a capital purchase, pay per user per month, or blend the two. You can change your mind later without changing platforms.
On-premise
An MX appliance in your building — MX-SE II for small and branch offices, MX-E and its larger models for hundreds to thousands of users. SIP trunk support and full unified communications are built in.
Hosted in the cloud
A fully hosted and managed Zultys MX system with per-user packages for standard users, premium UC users, and contact center agents — no hardware to buy or maintain.
Virtual & hybrid
MXvirtual runs the same system as a VMware-ready virtual appliance, and hybrid deployments combine on-site and cloud so multi-site organizations stay on one dial plan.
ZAC software
Zultys Advanced Communicator: the whole phone system in one window.
ZAC runs on Windows, Mac, iOS, Android, and in a browser. Whatever your team uses, it's the same interface and the same feature set — and it works with any ZIP desk phone on the desk beside it.
Calling & call control
Answer, transfer, park, record, and monitor calls from your desktop, browser, or phone — with the same extension everywhere.
Chat & business SMS
Internal team chat plus text messaging with customers from your business number, with full history attached to the contact.
Video & screen sharing
Start a video meeting or share a screen from the same window you take calls in — no separate meeting subscription to manage.
Mobile apps
iOS and Android clients keep staff reachable on their business identity without handing out personal cell numbers.
Contact center & agent tools
Skills-based call groups, agent states, supervisor monitoring, whisper and barge-in, and callback handling for support and sales teams.
Presence & reporting
See who is available before you transfer, and pull call, queue, and agent reporting that shows how the phones are actually performing.
The phone lineup
ZIP phones you can mix and match.
Every Zultys phone uses open-standard SIP, supports Power over Ethernet, and is provisioned centrally from MX Administrator — so adding a desk takes minutes, not a service call.
ZIP entry & mid-range desk phones
Gigabit SIP phones with HD audio, PoE, and programmable keys — the right fit for most staff desks, break rooms, and shared areas.
ZIP 45G
A 3.7" backlit display, dual gigabit ports, 21 programmable soft keys, headset port with electronic hook switch — built for heavy phone users.
ZIP 47GE
High-resolution color display, dual gigabit ports, and 27 programmable soft keys — the executive and front-desk phone.
ZIP 450M expansion module
Adds banks of programmable keys for receptionists and dispatchers who need to see every line and extension at a glance.
Conference & cordless
Conference room phones and DECT cordless handsets for warehouses, shops, and staff who move around the building.
Softphone-only users
Not everyone needs hardware. ZAC on a laptop with a headset is a full extension — useful for remote and part-time staff.

How a Zultys project runs with us
- 1. Discovery. We listen to how calls actually flow today — who answers, what gets missed, and where customers get stuck.
- 2. Design. Deployment model, user packages, phone counts, call flows, and internet/SIP requirements, quoted clearly.
- 3. Network readiness. We verify cabling, switching, PoE, and QoS before cutover — most "bad VoIP" is really a network problem.
- 4. Build & port. We program the system, port your numbers, and test everything before go-live.
- 5. Train & support. Live training on ZAC and the phones, then ongoing moves, adds, changes, and support from our team.
FAQ
Zultys questions we hear most.
Is the hosted version missing features the on-premise one has?
No. It is the same MX software in both cases. Deployment changes where the system runs and how you pay for it — not what your users can do.
What exactly is ZAC?
Zultys Advanced Communicator — the unified communications app for desktop, mobile, and browser. Calling, presence, chat, business SMS, voicemail, call recording, video meetings, screen sharing, and contact center controls all live in one place.
Can we start on-premise and move to the cloud later?
Yes — that's one of the strongest reasons to choose Zultys. Because the platform is identical, a move is a migration of your existing configuration rather than a rip-and-replace with new training and new hardware.
Can we keep our phone numbers?
Yes. We port your existing numbers, build the auto attendants and call groups in advance, and schedule the cutover so your customers never hit a dead line.
Do we need new cabling or switches?
Sometimes. Phones need Power over Ethernet and clean switching to sound right. We assess it up front and can handle any structured cabling and network work as part of the same project.
Do you support the system after install?
Yes. Moves, adds, changes, new hires, call-flow edits, and troubleshooting are handled by the same Central Florida team that installed it — often alongside your managed IT agreement.
Ready to price out a Zultys system?
Tell us how many users you have and how your calls flow today, and we'll put together a clear proposal — on-premise, hosted, or hybrid, with the phones and features that actually fit.
