UniFi Support — Central Florida

Ubiquiti UniFi Support, Design & Deployment

Expert-level support for the entire UniFi system — routers, switches, access points, cameras, and access control. Whether another company set it up and walked away or you're looking to deploy UniFi for the first time, Ascend Technologies keeps it running across Central Florida.

Why UniFi, done right

One platform for your whole network — if someone actually manages it.

UniFi is appealing because it puts routing, switching, Wi-Fi, cameras, and access control under one controller with one app. The catch is that "one platform" only works when someone sets it up properly and keeps it healthy — firmware, RF tuning, site configs, and alerts.

That's where a lot of businesses get stuck. A vendor installed it, walked off, and now nobody knows the controller password, the access points overlap on the same channel, and the cameras stopped recording weeks ago. We take those systems over, fix what's broken, and provide the ongoing support that was missing from the start.

The UniFi lineup

Five product families. One controller to run them.

Start with networking and add cameras or access control later — everything joins the same UniFi controller and the same app, with no separate management servers.

UniFi routers & gateways

UniFi Dream Machines and gateway routers that handle WAN, VPN, traffic routing, and firewall rules — managed alongside the rest of the network from the same controller.

UniFi switches

Cloud-managed PoE switches that power access points, cameras, and access devices while segmenting traffic with VLANs — all visible and configurable from the Network app.

UniFi access points

Wi-Fi 6 and Wi-Fi 7 access points with seamless roaming, mesh options for hard-to-wire areas, and RF tuning so coverage actually reaches every corner of the building.

UniFi Protect cameras

NVR-free camera system that records locally and streams to the Protect app — no subscription fees, no cloud storage dependency, with AI motion, person, and vehicle detection.

UniFi access control

UniFi door locks, readers, and intercoms that tie into the same controller — badge events, schedules, and remote unlock from the app you already use for Wi-Fi and cameras.

UniFi Network Controller

One controller — self-hosted or cloud — for every site and every device family. Network, Protect, Access, and Talk all live under a single login with shared sites and users.

How we deliver it

From broken to running — or brand new.

01

Audit the existing system

We adopt your UniFi controller, review the site configs, RF coverage, VLANs, and firmware, and document what's working and what's broken.

02

Fix & tune

We correct misconfigured APs, fix VLAN and routing issues, update firmware, tune RF for real coverage, and stabilize the controller — often the same visit.

03

Expand or deploy

If you need more coverage, cameras, or access control, we source the right UniFi hardware, run the cabling, and bring it into the existing controller.

04

Manage & support

Ongoing remote management covers firmware, site configs, alerts, and reporting — one number for your whole UniFi stack, not a disappearing installer.

The takeover specialists

Most of our UniFi work isn't new installs — it's rescuing systems a previous vendor abandoned. We adopt the controller, untangle the config, and become the team you call when something stops working. See our managed IT support for the broader picture.

FAQ

UniFi questions we hear most.

Do you support UniFi systems another company installed?

Yes — that's actually most of our UniFi work. We take over the controller, audit the configuration, fix the broken pieces, and provide ongoing management so you're not left searching for someone every time an access point drops or the cameras stop recording.

Is Ascend Technologies an official Ubiquiti partner?

No, we're not an official Ubiquiti partner. What we offer is expert-level, hands-on support of the full UniFi product line based on real field experience — for businesses that have UniFi and aren't getting the support they need.

Can you manage our UniFi controller remotely?

Yes. We can host your UniFi Network Controller in the cloud or connect to your existing controller and manage routers, switches, access points, cameras, and access control remotely — including firmware, site configurations, alerts, and reporting.

Do you sell UniFi hardware, or only support it?

Both. If you already have UniFi, we support it. If you're looking to deploy UniFi for the first time or expand what you have, we source the right routers, switches, access points, cameras, and access devices and handle the installation and configuration.

What does "one platform" actually get me?

UniFi puts routing, switching, wireless, cameras, and access control under one controller and one app. One interface, one set of sites, one login — instead of a separate app for your firewall, another for your cameras, and a third for your door badges.

Can you fix our Wi-Fi coverage issues on UniFi?

Yes. We use the UniFi RF tools to map coverage, relocate or add access points, adjust channels and transmit power, and tune roaming so devices hand off cleanly between APs. Most "slow Wi-Fi" complaints on UniFi come down to poor placement and channel overlap, not the hardware.

Need real support for your UniFi system?

Tell us what's not working — or what you'd like to deploy — and we'll audit the system, fix the issues, and give you a straightforward plan for ongoing support. One number for your whole UniFi stack.
