It's Sophos' approach where your firewall, endpoints, mobile devices, and Wi-Fi share threat data in real time through Sophos Central. When one component detects a threat, the others respond automatically — an infected laptop is isolated at the firewall and restricted on Wi-Fi until it's cleaned, with no manual rule changes.
Do I need a separate controller for the switches and access points?
No. Sophos Switch and Sophos Wireless are cloud-managed through Sophos Central, so there's no on-premise controller to buy, power, or maintain. Configuration, segmentation, and firmware updates are all pushed from the cloud.
Can we start with just a firewall and add the rest later?
